Glazing is a very effective method used for surface treatment of:
- aluminium,
- acid resistant steel,
- non-ferrous metals.
Glass granulate is the abrasive used in this method (hence the name). It is produced in the process of crushing pure, specially prepared sodium glass. Depending on the needs, the effect of glazing can be either satin or glossy. Glazing is a very delicate process, therefore it can be applied to parts that are easily brittle or have thin walls.
Glass granulate is a very ecological abrasive and does not contain heavy metals.
